Found this in the garden this morning.
It's a double gladiolus, cool! Never saw one before; didn't know there was such a thing. The hybrid corm must have been mixed in with our big-box store lot inadvertently. Not sure if we want to hunt up a few more for next year or if we should let this one have all the glory.
Now that 95% of the glads have bloomed there are clear favorites, although M & I don't agree about all of them. And it's not like I would actually dig up and trash the ones we like least... hum, maybe a donation to the local garden club's annual spring sale is in order.
